Studio Policies & FAQ

Booking & Sessions

What is the difference between a Private and Semi-Private session?

Private sessions are one-on-one, tailored entirely to your body’s needs. Semi-privates (Duos or Trios) are small groups. Semi-private groups are self-formed, this ensures you are working out with someone you are comfortable with and who is at a similar level.

What should I wear? Do I need grip socks?

Please wear comfortable athletic wear. Unlike many studios, grip socks are not required here; however, you are welcome to wear them if you prefer. We practice Classical Pilates, which often feels best in bare feet or standard athletic socks.

Cancellation & Attendance

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours' notice for all cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee.

How do cancellations work for Duos or Trios?

Since semi-private groups are self-formed, the session rate depends on the number of participants present.

If a member cancels with more than 24 hours' notice: The remaining partner(s) have the choice to "upgrade" the session (a Duo becomes a Private; a Trio becomes a Duo) at the respective rate. If the remaining partners prefer not to upgrade, the entire session will be cancelled.

If a member cancels with less than 24 hours' notice: The late-cancelling member is responsible for their payment, and the remaining partners may enjoy the session at their original semi-private rate.
